About

Construction training that comes to you

We help tradies, construction businesses and trainers build practical skills through short, gamified courses delivered by SMS.

No classrooms, no time off site.

Training should come to construction workers.

We've been saying it for years: training should come to construction workers, not drag them off site to learn.

Pulling someone off the job for a day costs time and money and, once they're back, how much of that training has actually stuck?

So we built The Learning Tool.

Supporting innovation in construction training

In 2026, The Learning Tool was awarded a Skills Innovation Grant from the Construction Training Fund (CTF). The grant supports the development and pilot of 10 practical microcourses with 100 participants from WA construction businesses and Registered Training Organisations (RTOs).

Nicola, our Director, Industry and Clients, also sits on the Housing Industry Association (HIA) Training and Professional Development Committee, advocating for small businesses and sole traders in construction.
